recently I was invited to do a poster design for The Poster Cause Project, an effort to sell and promote artwork while donating part of profits to charities and organizations in need! I’ve chosen WWF as my charity…No! not the wrestling show you are thinking hehe…it’s the one with cute panda logo, they protects nature and wild animals….etc :)

This piece was first designed for Faesthetic magazine earlier, and it was such a rush, i remember having 3 days to finish 4 pages of artwork, and 2 sleepless nights, now look back, there are many details could be refined, PANDARA wasn’t even looking right, so I took this opportunity to fix this artwork, some tweaking, re-shaping and fully re-rendered textures(click through to see some zoom-in images)! It’s now a 15 x 11 inches poster, print on high quality 100# stock, and limited to 25 prints ONLY!

here comes the cutest book ever!! ‘I Love Kawaii (かわいい)‘ curated by Charuca, I’m honored to be part of this project, among some artists that I admire! Tado, Friends With You, Devil Robots, Tokidoki, Itokin Park, Bubi Au Yeung…..and more! No doubt this is one of my favorite art book of all time, non stop cuteness from page 1 to 272! If you are into cutesy creatures, Japanese influenced urban art, don’t miss this kawaii book! ヾ（*⌒ヮ⌒*）ゞ

As I’ve been told, this book is out now in Spain, rest of the world to follow on July! and official rumor says it will be available in 3 languages, Spanish, English & Japanese!! pretty sweet huh?!

There will be a release party in the FNAC bookstore Plaza Catalunya (Barcelona) on June 25th, 7pm! Charuca will talk about this book and the kawaii scene, and get your copy signed by the kawaii master herself!! hehe…

my copy of COMIX arrived last week, nicely printed indie comic book from Art Bureau, featuring comics by Bubi Au Yeung, Daria Tessler, Rebecca Artemisa, Paul Shih, Andy Smith, Junichi Tsuneoka , Jon Sperry, Jim Bradshaw, Sarah Becan, Ciah-Ciah and Zeptonn.
