DTA 2011 Nominate
i was nominated in 2011 Designer Toy Awards(DTA), best self produced category! organized by clutter magazine, this first annual DTA will held in munky king SDCC party, details click here. thank you whoever nominated me! around 2 years into toy making, it was my honor to be on the same list of artists that i admire, however i didn't make it to final five this year :-/ .....for that "toy king" trophy designed by pete fowler, i'll have to work extra hard next year!!! that got to be the rarest toy...

Sushi Kaiju Release Info and Stuff!
Sushi Kaiju are ready to serve!! mark your calendar, set your alarm! because there are only 15 sushis made this time(so much for one man{chef} can do), until i hire a monkey, it'll always be small runs :P 7-7-7! thats July 7th, 7pm pacific time! (NZ time: july 8th, 2pm! / Tokyo time: july 8th, 11am! / HongKong time: july 8th, 10am! / London time: july 8th, 3am!) each sushi runs for USD $60 plus shipping, and i'm giving out free sushi kaiju button badges for the early birds(while stock lasts)!...

...carry on to second part of the W.I.P, if you missed part one, here it is :-) 17. continue on the geta details, adding little "teeth" at the bottom! 18. finish off geta with the thong thingy... 19. start building the arms(tentacles), little worry these arms might be a little fragile, should have made wire framework for it at the beginning, so i carve out a bit and adding sulpeys from the inside, it should add some supports! 20. shape up the tentacles and draw the guides for suction cups...
Sushi Kaiju – W.I.P Part 1
here comes my next resin toy - Sushi "Punk" Kaiju(壽司怪獣), a new eastern addition to my Hollow Threat world! he's a mutant creature formed by waste sushi, seafood and chemicals dumped into the ocean, kinda like teenage mutant ninja turtles from sewer?! sushi kaiju has yet to meet his master splinter, he can't fight kung fu, but he will slap your face with tentacles when he sees you wasting seafood! :P i've kaiju on my mind ever since i got my airbrush, with a few kaiju ideas in my sketchbook,...
New Hollow Threat Ident!
say bye-bye to old Hollow Threat intro, a dark atmospheric logo animation that doesn't really express what HT is, all HT design came from positive thinking, even though some devilish graphics might confuse you, its exact what HT is all about, We Are Just A Hollow Threat! so here's the first look of new Hollow Threat identity video....(you'll see it over and over again in the future hehe) p.s. new toy is shaping up nicely, expect some preview next week..!?
